Lemme try to wordicize this concept for you. You know that anxious, stomach-juggling, excited yet nervous feeling you get before a first date, or a job interview, or a rectal exam? Okay, now take that feeling and really try to reflect on how powerful it is and feels. How your entire world seems to shake like a snow-globe in the hands of a B-boy in mid-seizure.

For every child, there is a collection of toys. For every collection of toys, there is a missing link. A holy grail, of sorts. That which will never be. For myself, it was Grimlock: Transformer, and leader of the DinoBots.
To be honest, it’s not like I had all the DinoBots.. or even an extensive Transformer collection at that. My family didn’t have a lot of money for play things when I was a kid. Like many families, we got by. I did have toys though… and more than enough. I had Optimus, Bumblebee, and a motorcycle guy w/ no name from the film version of the cartoon… He was a henchmen and found identity in his mob. Read More »
