Barack Obama es el Presidente de Los Estados Unidos!

January 27, 2009 by Jaymar Cabebe

Hey Touchblue folks, it’s a been a minute, huh?

Well, I got back from DC a few days ago, and I wanted to say congrats to the world. I know Barack Obama’s inauguration was a week ago, but my fingers and toes just barely thawed out… so here i am. =)

I also have to give big ups to Filipinos For Obama, now known as KAYA. I was fortunate enough to hang with some of them, and it was all good times. They were also responsible for my getting tickets to the event. =) The view was unbelievable so again, many props and thanks to them.

The spectacular camera-work below was by yours truly…

Notice the contrast?

That’s all for now. Be talking to you soon..

Close the Light!

March 26, 2008 by Dianne Que

In 2007, 2.2 Million Aussies in Sydney, Australia decided to turn out the lights for one hour…AT THE SAME TIME. The amount of energy they saved was equivalent to taking 48,000 cars off the road. Wowzers. This year, on Saturday, March 29 from 8-9PM, “Earth Hour” goes global! From SF to Manila to… Christchurch (Yup, that’s a real city. In New Zealand.), millions of folks – including businesses and corporations – will be turning off their lights in a worldwide movement to cool the warming globe.

Saturday, March 29, 8-9PM.
Let’s Go Dark.
