Move over, Usain Bolt.
September 4, 2008 by Dianne QueOn 8.31.08, over 1 million runners in 25 cities around the world pulled on their moisture-wicking socks to participate in the 10K Nike+ Human Race, the world’s largest running event EVER. Jaymar, Will, and Yours Truly joined 12,500 runners in Los Angeles for the 6.2mi run, followed by a live musical performance by Kanye West and Common. WHAT. The serotonin-inducing event benefited the World Wildlife Fund, livestrong.com, and ninemillion.org.
