We on Award Tour…

Los Angeles Jan. 07 Northridge Oct. 06

I can’t help myself with the A Tribe Called Quest reference, ha. But yes. Touchblue has been hitting the road recently, with stops in San Jose, (F)Los(s) Angeles, sunny San Diego and more. We can’t wait to hit the East Coast, Midwest, even Hawaii in the near future, but we need your help to get us out there. We found this handy little thing on the internet called Eventful that helps bands, musicians, comedians and performers keep track of who wants them to perform in their area. A few of you may have seen our Eventful sticker on our Myspace and wondered WTF is that!? Now is your chance to let us know that you want us…all at the same time…to perform…in your city. Registration is free and you’re helping us out by showing event organizers and promoters that YOU WANT SOME TOUCHBLUE in your ‘hood! Read More »

At My Last Audition…

January 24, 2007 by Rene Gube

Have you purchased YOUR tickets to the GUN SHOW?
The actor’s auditioning process.

Lemme try to wordicize this concept for you. You know that anxious, stomach-juggling, excited yet nervous feeling you get before a first date, or a job interview, or a rectal exam? Okay, now take that feeling and really try to reflect on how powerful it is and feels. How your entire world seems to shake like a snow-globe in the hands of a B-boy in mid-seizure.

Intense feeling, yes?

“The more things change, the more they stay the same.”

A 1-year anniversary traditionally calls for something personalized, an inscription if we may, in the form of an announcement to be archived in history…to those who participated in our soulful spiritual, perhaps tried a delicious Oreo cookie shake, or simply rocked out with the gentleman on his laptop – THANK YOU FOR COMING; to Lost Souls and all who offer the world what it hasn’t seen: May an Ube shake be a bridge to inspire those in search of their voice.
Thanks to one man’s, we were already closer to Friday.

…Oh and Mr. Bauer, the next time you run down Harlem Place Alley in hot pursuit of a bad guy…your house drip will be waiting for you on the counter.
